Balay
Balay is a wine bar in Milan shaped from the ground up as a strategic and cultural positioning, rather than a predefined format. Initially conceived as a listening bar, the project was redirected towards a more distinctive and ownable territory, building a stronger narrative rooted in Filipino identity and the idea of home.
We worked closely with the founder to define the DNA of the space, translating this vision into a cohesive system that spans naming, visual identity and art direction. The result is a place that moves beyond typologies, positioning Balay as a cultural environment where hospitality, design and storytelling converge in a more personal and recognizable way.
